This Saturday, at 1:30, Trinity Wall Street presents Folk on the Island! The concert series will feature Bearfoot, the Alaskan-based acoustic ensemble to Governors Island. Their style reflects a vibrant mixing of jazz, blues, and bluegrass. In 2001, they won the Telluride music festival’s Blue Grass Band Champions (a title they share with Nickel Creek and the Dixie Chicks). On Saturday, 7/19, they will be preforming free on the Island, so please come out and join us to hear their sophisticated interpretation on classic bluegrass style.
