Governors Island is named one of NYC’s best “daycations”

Eyewitness News just named Governors Island one of New York City’s best daycations as a part of their “Summer Savings” series. They recognized the Island for being a great place where New York City residents can go this summer to enjoy an entire day of FREE activities. They particularly loved our Free Bike Fridays, artist-designed miniature golf, and the incredible views you can enjoy from the promenade here. In just three weeks, you can check it all out for yourself, spending an entire day enjoying all the Island has to offer.
