This Friday Governors Island is host to a whole bunch of activities. Starting tomorrow there will be a free kite exhibition in Building 4! Check out the wild, wacky and amazing kites on display. The exhibition has been produced by the Governors Island Alliance. After looking at the show, be sure to fly a kite yourself down at Picnic Point, where the Manhattan Youth will be teaching kids their kite flying skills! And if flying kites isn’t your thing, let the Downtown Boathouse take you to sea level with free kayaking lessons.

 Kayaking and kite lessons will be around from 11:00 to 4:00 on Friday, and on Saturday there will be free kayaking as well.
